I have received an Invoice for over $1,000 for something bought on e-Bay. I did not order anything from e-Bay & this is a fraud Invoice. Please deal with this.

We are ordinary members here, not eBay staff.
Are you sure the invoice is real? Some invoices are scams/phishing emails where people are asked to click on links to go to sites that steal their details.
Is this purchase in your purchase history too (does anybody else have access to your account - if not and the purchase is in your purchase history, your account has been hacked) or did you just get an email asking you to click on links? I hope you didn't click on any links if this is the case. If you did, change passwords and cancel credit cards (if you entered details).

An invoice is for something that has to be paid, a receipt is for something that has already been paid. Are they asking you to pay, or confirming that you have paid?
Either way, let's hope you never clicked on anything in the message.
Did the message come through your normal mail, or is it in your actual Ebay messages?
How would you like Ebay to deal with it?
Ebay has no control over fraudulent messages sent by scammers outside of the Ebay ecosystem.

I try deleting my ebay account many times without success sick of the email invoice scams saying I purchased something 100 $ taken out of my bank account then owing 500$ the amount will not show up for 24 hours,

You'd be better off - just deleting the emails - and totally ignoring them - everyone gets them.

As dom said, just delete the emails. You don't have to do anything to your account IF you don't click on any links. They are phishing emails, only dangerous if you click on links. If you don't, you can just delete them, no harm done.

Why not block the scammers?
Closing your eBay account is not going to stop the scam emails
They have nothing to do with eBay and will keep on coming if you do not 'block sender'
People who have never had an eBay account get similar scam emails
Close your account by all means (no idea why 'delete account' is not working, but be aware the emails will not stop because you do
