The seller would be using the email address that you used when purchasing from them....it would be part of their records of the sale.

There should be a way of opting out of their mailing list and if you still wish to remain on that seller's mailing list you can just join up with your new email address.

I wish there was a way to opt out of mailing lists. I keep getting emails from 4WD dismantlers and spare parts dealers. I have never bought from them, and neither has Mr Tippy. I have contacted them and asked to be removed. They assured me I was. I even used the unsubscribe button in the email and that doesn't work either. I am destined to be spammed forever!

Just block the senders.

Just block them or use your message rules to block or re-direct.good.gif

Re: I changed my email but keep getting mail from sellers on my old address

EBay sellers seem to be immune to blocks. I have tried everything, but the emails still come through. Most of the time it's only once a week, but every now and then it could be 4 or 5 times a week. They are reputable, high volume sellers, with 100%  feedback, and are definitely in Australia, but I can't stop the messages. I don't suspect for a minute that they are dodgy sellers. Even they are at a loss as to why I was getting them. I checked my saved sellers, or favourites, or whatever they are called these days, and neither are on there.

Interestingly, one of them, I get emails on 2 different accounts. Even if Mr Tippy had bought something bleams ago and had forgotten who he bought from, he doesn't have, nor has he ever had, access to that other account. It's a complete mystery.

I know it's no issue to just delete the emails, which is what I do, but it would be nice to know why this is happening!
