I want to change my ebay email account but I keep going around in security circles.

I can't change my contact email address. When I select edit in address it sends me to the security number selector, then back to log in, then the security number selector then back to the home page. Ready to start again.

Have you contacted eBay ?

Have you cleared your cache/cookies etc and re-started your computer in case it is stuck in a log in loop?

I have always been able to stop a login loop by clearing out browser cache. I've never had to reboot the computer, but if it makes you feel better doing that, then do that too.

When changing your email address, it's worth knowing that you can't change it to anything that is like your usename. For example, it wouldn't allow you to have pickinpete02@someisp.com.au.

Edited to add: To the moderators, that is not a real email address, it is purely there as an example to the OP.
