I belive it is an ebay glitch across the Australian ebay pages
The lowest standard Auspost service is $9.70 up to 250gr
Buyers pay on some of my items (individually or combined) up to 250gr for $8.73 (97cents less)
$8.73 is the ebay discounted label price which offered to sellers if they want to purchase the label from eBay.
The listings and the checkout screens should show buyers $9.70
I searched on ebay and saw some sellers having the same issue..tons of listings with incorrect $8.73 postage
I belive the listings with calculated postage having this issue.

Have you tried changing 1 item to flat rate, to see what you get?

No, but I contacted ebay waiting their response
And i will also try copy and create another postage policy for the impacted listings

More than likely, you will get a copy and paste reply saying they will escalate it to tech and someone will get back to you within 24-48 hours
That it the reply to anyone about anything
And they don't

I think this could be quite serious as I have just gone back and the last 3 days it has under charged postage. If ebay has made an error it will be costly as looking at mine it is only $10-$20 but multiply that by thousands of sellers and it gets expensive quick. But am I going to do anything about that amount likely not but if it continues I will likely just bump up the effected item price.
Will have to wait and see but wont hold my breath for too long.

Didn't eBay mega-botch something (charges) in the not too distant past?
I can't remember exactly what off the top of my head, but there were many threads opened here about it

They "forgot" to charge for some (not all) postage labels over a period of time, then hit sellers with the accumulated unpaid charges in one go - in some cases dating back for months

I had a thought just incase no fees had been charged on the postage amount I better go back and check but no they did charge the fees on the total still.
The problem this time it may be the reverse but there may be something in the T&Cs to cover them for errors unless law prohibits them doing so.
I may need to use AI to draft a letter to ebay for compensation and see who's AI wins that battle.

Quick fix if you're using AP as your carrier.
Use flat postage and insert the $9.70 yourself (you will have to use AP Standard Parcel as eBay won't include AP XS satchels in their list)
Open a MyPost Business account and get the applicable discounts from AP.
Note: AP XS satchels are rated to 5kg, the same as the rest of their flat rate satchels.
I have over 2000 listings and editing them when AP prices increase takes only a few minutes.
