Is it normal, that when an item automatically renews, the shipping policy changes from one you have set up, to something totally weird and never used with a huge name selected and made by some eBay bot? Also the payment policy gets changed too and a whole new policy is generated when that happens.
This has always happened to me and I have to go into each item, fix it and then delete those eBay made policies.

This is what happens to my items when they renew. They don't renew as they were originally created.
Relisting, same thing happens. eBay is changing things about the item so I renew or relist without looking at the item because one could safely assume nothing has changed in the item. Only it has. I then have to go through my policies changing everything back and deleting the weird ebay policies.

Can you be more specific? I've had a look and compared some of the listings you've ended today, and re-listed....I can see no difference.
Can you give us an ended item number & it's re-listed counterpart?
There are many strange things going on with re-lists at the moment.
Some of mine are swapping from 10 days to 7.
See my thread, with links to the USA boards....read it & weep

That's because I already went through and fixed them all immediately. It does it on automatically relisted items to.

Yep - Ever since trying ebay postage policies recently, we keep finding they are getting removed by ebay somehow and being bot replaced with some ridiculously high charge, making listings have no appeal to buyers. We then have to manually go through every single listing and eyeball whether it has the postage policy still applied or the ebay random bot price increase. It's really, really tedious and annoying.
It may even be fraudulent on ebays behalf? Randomly jacking the postage price up for no logical reason, on the sellers behalf?
I hope they fix this.

Hardly relevant to the conditions that were extant almost TWO years ago.
Especially relating to eBay postage policies. Which you are under no obligation to comply with.
