Technical Bug *eBay holding payments for 21 days - Trust account - Waiting for managed payments

This morning I noticed after 3 years on ebay, that I have noticed that I am told I have to wait for 21 days for funds release on my account, my account is in perfect order with no hiccup at all, all my items have tracking on them and none are sold without. We sell so many high priced items also. As we are a trust account and not a PTY LTD, we have to wait also for managed payments which apparently takes time. Has anyone else faced this issue today?

Told via chat this shouldn't be. Told to wait 72 hrs. GREAT!. COVID LOCKDOWN and they hold my money.

Thank you for sharing. I called and spoke direct to the managed payments, team, they said anyone who is not on Managed Payments will be on a permanent hold till they transition to managed payments, this was only implemented 2 days ago. tdk07_9 are you a trust business setup also? Are you on Managed Payments as of yet?

I am a partnership. I have signed up for managed payments but have not been given a date. I did this as late as possible as with many others I resent being forced into this transition. How do Ebay expect us to operate for 21 days without funds? So in theory they are going to hold thousands of our dollars and we have to wait until by some miracle they transfer us to managed payments. Outrageous!

Thank you so much for sharing your insight, I really appreciate it. I feel your frustration, sad that it is currently like this but do hope they fix this soon. I was told today further to last night, this is a BUG that they are aware of, this was confirmed to me in writing. Apparently the system has us listed as a "casual seller" and as such, these holds are being placed by mistake. They will fix it soon from what I was advised. How are you travelling as of now ?

Phew!!! You have done well getting this information. I have only been stonewalled and have not yet even received an Email. If they know it's a bug why can't they say????  

Anyway I have had a cooking pot of negativity floating around my head for the last two days but this info that you have just provided has provided the beacon of light that I was looking for!!!
