I cannot scroll my watchlist after responding 'later' to the install app popup invitation.
I don't want to install the ebay app on my phone, am I being forced to comply by ebay disabling the watchlist scrolling???

I have the same issue. UI/UX fail!

What browser? Latest version?
Any difference if you try another browser? You may be able to permanently dismiss the popup in another browser and then return to your original browser, if that popup is like some others.

Why can’t eBay fix this? It’s been driving me crazy for months and prevents you scrolling through your watch list on the phone.
no, I don’t want the app eBay! I just want to scroll through my eBay account in my browser.

It's not an eBay problem. It's actually an effect that you've created for yourself - whether it be by using an incompatible browser, or using the mobile site rather than the classic site. For example, there are absolutely no issues whatsoever with watchlist scrolling when using Chrome on the classic site.
Both your browser and the site you use to access eBay are entirely your choice. So, to answer your question, since eBay have no control over which personal choices you make, there's nothing for them to fix.

I have the same problem with Chrome and Firefox, using what I believe is the 'classic' site. These are two widely used browsers.
Call ma a conspiracy theorist, but I reckon it's eBay trying to force app use.

It’s 100% eBay’s problem what are you talking about? Their coding team is useless I’m using a complete up to date iPhone iOS & Safari and unable to scroll watch list after cancelling their app install every time.
The end user shouldn’t have to find work arounds for this, they should be bug testing on the largest group of mobile users it really isn’t that hard.
Broken by design to push the **bleep** app for data tracking.

Given that only 5 people have experienced a similar thing over the past 18 months, it's really not an issue at all - but you've just confirmed what I said previously by stating that you think cancelling the app installation is the cause. It sounds like your settings are defaulting to opening eBay links in the eBay app. Have you tried changing that setting?
Nobody I know has any issues with scrolling their watched items - but they aren't making the same choices or completing the same actions as you.
I've just checked again and can't see anything out of the norm.
So how do you propose eBay fix their non-existent problem? Short of sending someone to your house to oversee your interaction with their website, what exactly do you think they should do?
Is there any reason why you can't install the app? Once installed, you don't have to use it. You can still use any browser of you choice to access the website. If you're correct, then this will solve your problem
