how can a person notify ebay of a bug in its systems?

For "pickup only" items, Ebay uses an old out-of-date postcode to work out how far away the item is, instead of my current postcode, and there appears to be no method by which Ebay can be contacted to notify them of  a bug in their systems.

If you are searching as a buyer, you should be able to change the postal code used to calculate your shipping estimates. One way to do this is to search and sort by distance, then click on the postal code or country that appears in the upper right of the search results.

Alternatively, if you see the "Item location" filter on the search results page, you should be able to update your postal code there by clicking on the "within" option.

If that does not help or if you encounter another bug that you want to report, many eBay desktop pages have a "Tell us what you think" link in the upper right or a feedback/comment/"? icon" link in the lower right that can be used to provide info directly to page developers.

If you click on the highlighted 25km (in my case) of the ''local pickup with xxKm'' option.   It allows you to change the distance and postcode, even the country if you want.

I did some testing, once you change it, it stays with the new postcode you have entered,   so make the change and it should be good.
