once again i can not sign out why ?

why is it that i can not sign out ? this is the second time of this issue in the past two days

i am finding this very annoying, i am not using a mobile device , nor a public system (no thanks to covid) nor having or using any other type of browser only edge (and the upgraded one) it is bad enough that some seller has been sending me messages for the past couple of weeks asking me to remove feedback due to I bought two items that BOTH FAILED . but i have this ? how much more does one go through , i have tried to sell and buy cars off e bay but only got stupid sthill bidding and early buyers that change the mind , and buying items that would not pass a standard check in ANY country, now this ? i would prefer to go through open heart surgery again for the 9 hours last time than be going through the stress that is is causing me.

There  is a never ending supply of threads on the same subject....take your pick of temporary fixes.

All you can do is wait for it t be fixed like everyone else.

If you are getting the message "oops something went wrong" with a brat(some say cute child) in a raincoat and the page is missing I suggest you go to settings/options of your browser, then select privacy/security or similar, find manage data/history, clear all cache ,cookies and history, then sign out. The same page may appear but you will not be signed in anymore. The top left will now say Sign In or Register instead of your name. Refreshing the page will not automatically log you back in.

Until eBay fixes the system fault there is probably little else you can do. Before that happens they have to acknowledge there is a fault.

Sorry to hear that you are having the same issues as dozens of other people in the 40 + threads already on this

I would suggest you look at the many short term fixes offered by members in the past few days

Or you try contacting Live Chat if you can get through

As for the rest, if you make the choice to buy from dodgey sellers, that is your choice to make and the risk you take in doing so

There is no special treatment because someone thinks their age/health/hardship/etc/etc should 

If using eBay IS causing you the amount of stress you say, don't use it
