Hi,
I have used eBay for years and years now (maybe even 10 years!) and this is the first time I am getting this issue.
I am trying to buy an item and keep getting this email resply from eBay (see attached screenshot) telling me my (PayPal) payment has to be re-sent.
I actually bought two different items from two different sellers and one went through instantly while this other one did not.
I suspect it is an issue with the seller's account.
If so, then why is eBay chasing me??!
Hopefully I will not suddenly get 4 payments deducted off my PayPal, or - worse still - receive 4 of the item for which the seller will want 3 sent back - at whose cost??!
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks!
Cheers,
Kris

Have you checked your PP account.
If the seller is on managed payments, then you pay ebay, who then pay the seller, in which case the problem is hardly likely to be the sellers account. It is also most likely the reason ebay is messaging you.

Hi " gutterpunkz05"
Thank you for your reply but sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to say about "managed payments".
Can you please expand further?
Cheers!

No solution (or apology) from eBay on this?
I didn't have time to waste waiting, so I paid (more) and bought the same item from another seller. My still via-PayPal payment went through. Instantly.
So as I suspected, the problem was with (the vendor, and) the error email eBay was sending me, "try paying again" was the fault.

I had the same issue with a seller last week and they told me it was an issue with their account, possibly managed payments not set up correctly.
So I had to make the purchase directly on their website store as a guest.
Even got a 10% discount for using their site first time. 😊
BTW, don't know if you realize, if someone places a bid of 900 on your Bose speakers (the BIN disappears) and if no one else bids, they sell for 900. The BIN is not a reserve and you are obligated to sell to highest bidder. No reserves on eBay Aus.
