unable to sign into new phone ebay app - invaild request

I have tried all suggestions by other people who have had the same issue with unable to sign into the ebay app. It says invalid request.

What operating system type and version number are you using, and which eBay app version number?

Make sure you have the latest version of the eBay app for your operating system.

If you have the latest eBay app version, in some cases uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your device, and then installing the latest eBay app version again may help. The restart in between should ensure a clean install.
