Concerns re: what appears to be SPAM/Fraud email

Just received this email (from ebay@reply2.ebay.com.auadvising that refunds will no longer be given via PayPal. Is this legitimate? I do not wish to store my account details at all and suspect this to be SPAM or Fraud - please confirm.

Getting paid on eBay is changing, take action now1.

eBay now manages the end-to-end selling experience, including payments.

This means:
  • You get paid directly to your bank account, not your PayPal account, regardless of how the buyer chooses to pay. eBay sends payouts of available funds to your bank account within 2 business days after confirming your buyer’s payment.2

  • eBay deducts fees and expenses related to your sales from your funds prior to payout. No more PayPal payment processing fees or separate monthly fee payments!

  • You can list even more items for free!3 We’ve increased the 40 free listings a month with 250,000 free listings a month - ready to use as soon as you update your details.

Learn more here.

It’s important you update your account details as soon as possible. eBay will require all sellers to register for the new payments experience in 2021. After 29 July your ability to relist or revise existing listings or create new listings will be disabled, and we may remove all your live listings.

Please disregard this email if you’ve already updated your account details.

Concerns re: what appears to be SPAM/Fraud email

It is neither spam nor fraud. Neither your payments nor refunds will go through Paypal (unless you're a buyer, in which case refunds go to the funding source)

Check your eBay messages.

It is not spam - but check in your ebay messages - there should be a copy there
