Tried telling this to Indian Live Chat, but fell on deaf ears.
From Australia:
http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/tp/payment-escrow.html
the links to "www.escrow.com" go to "www.escrowaustralia.com" which is a spam website for towels and blankets, etc.
I am sure this was not ebay's intention.
After failing getting the point across to Live Chat, don't know where else to report it, so posting here for all to see.
This ends my efforts on this matter!
HTML code copied in below so everyone can see the link URL is "escrowaustralia"
There are fees to use escrow. Buyers and sellers should agree before the close of a transaction which party will pay those fees.escrow.com (<a href="http://www.escrowaustralia.com.au/" target="_blank">www.escrow.com</a>), eBay's preferred escrow service, publishes their fee schedule, along with their accepted methods of payment on their Web site (<a href="http://www.escrowaustralia.com.au" target="_blank">www.escrow.com</a>).

I work at Escrow.com and I would like to thank you for notifying Ebay and posting that the Escrow.com link is forwarding incorrectly. Security is very important to us. We have contacted Ebay to fix the incorrect link immediately.
Thank you,
Mauli Fry

Interesting.
Given that neither eBay AUSTRALIA nor Paypal AUSTRALIA offer an escrow service, what is the incorrect link? The scammer, you or both?
