I think this new charge imposed on buyers who purchase items in the US is a real scandal! As an average french buyer who loves US items, I can no longer afford to buy because it makes the final amount too high for me. I resent this unfair measure which penalizes the average buyer........and eventually the average US seller!

Hi Marie, we always ask the seller in the US if they will use USPS instead of the GPS before we buy. Some will and some won't or don't know how to move their item out of the GSP. But it is worth a try. (It is a very annoying function that many have just accepted without realising the impact the GSP has on the costs of postage to the buyer.)

CQ, that should read WON'T be delivered by PB.
They are a law unto themselves as to what they will and will not deliver...often their decisions have no resemblance to what Aussie Customs says are OK for delivery to Australia.

Mariejo, I am not sure if you have left negative feedback for a seller using the GSP but if you have it has gone.
Ebay will remove any negative feedback left for sellers using the GSP.

I couldn't agree more.I will NOT being buying anything through sellers who now use this Global Shipping and once you have it you can't get rid of it. I feel E-Bay made a HUGE mistake in implimenting this. It will NO DOUBT cause sales to go down for them and sellers. With Global shipping at $42+ I will not be buying as much with sellers who have GS Where does the extra money go? NOT to the seller I'll bet. NOT HAPPY WITH IT AT ALL.

CQ, that is the annoying part.....sellers in the USA do not pay FVFs on international shipping, only on the local postage component of the listing (the amount to send the item to PBs for on shipping).
