Hi
Up until last month I had not had any parcels go missing and now in the last month & a half I've had to issue refunds for 4 different buyers who haven't received their items. The parcels haven't been returned to me either & each parcel was clearly labeled with both the forwarding & return addresses on them. I've also noticed that some of the things I've bought from ebay haven't been delivered either. I heard from one of the two post offices nearby that some of the postmen aren't leaving cards when they can't deliver the parcels. How is anyone supposed to know to go & collect a parcel if they haven't been issued with a card. Has anyone else noticed this sort of thing happening. Also I've been selling regularly for a few years now.
thanks

I also had this problem, not getting deliveries. Post Office failed to mention regular postie on holidays for 3 weeks.
Temp didn't know what he was doing. Alls well now. Mr. Regular Postie came to the door to apologise.

All parcel products from Australia Post have a tracking number. You can go online and see where the parcel is. And if you need any more help, call Australia Post - they will assist in finding it. If you use stamps to send your parcels, go to your post office and ask for some parcel post tracking labels. They are free.

Check with your neighbour.. (and in turn have your buyers check with their neighbours).
I had a customer say "tracking says it's been delivered, but I do not have it.. and the suburb listed is wrong"
The suburb is the delivery area according to AusPost.... anyway.. I was going to lodge a complaint today.. but yesterday.. buyer contacted me.. said ALL IS WELL, their neighbour just came across with their parcel.. postman delivered to wrong address...
Even this week here at home I received mail for my neighbour across the road....

Unfortunately despite Aust Post advertising, all parcels do NOT have tracking.
If you are on a pre-paid mailing contract with Aust Post, free tracking is not offered nor will free labels be provide on request..
We find this very frustrating as customers doubt our integrity when we advise them of this reality.
We lost over 30 packages during the Christmas period and had to wear replacements, refunds and associated poor feedback.
