eBay new everyday fee plans that virtually eliminate the basic upfront cost

Just found this posted on my FaceBook Timeline. Does anyone know if it is just for the US stores or will we get the same here AU? 'Free listings* for all sellers! '

I don't think they even read what you wrote amfprior. I worked out my fees if I was in the US and I'd be paying less than $100 per month compared to Over $200 per month here in AU. It doesn't seem right does it?X-(

Re: eBay new everyday fee plans that virtually eliminate the basic upfront cost

I just sent a question to eBay Australia asking about this.  Here's what I wrote:-

Hello, Is there any chance that eBay Australia will be making changes to the fee and store structure similar to what has just occurred in the USA over the past few days?? Our store prices and inclusions are incredibly expensive compared to the prices and benefits that the USA receives.

amfprior, why do you want to pay MORE to ebay in fees than you already do by listing and selling on ebay aussie?  USA pay much higher fvf on items plus postage... if they bring that in to ebay aussie i think I'll be shutting up shop

Re: eBay new everyday fee plans that virtually eliminate the basic upfront cost

So you want to save a 20c store listing fee for the privilege of paying a 10% FVF on the total cost including postage?

You want to alienate the few buyers who still want to pay by bank deposit (I agree with cats that they are nuts but hey if that is what they want lol)

So you want ebay buyer protection to apply rather than our Paypal policy so that you have to have proof of delivery, not just of sending?

As far as I am concerned I hope they never standardise the various sites so they all work the same as the US site.
