We’re extending our Rate Table regions, so you can be more accurate about your postage locations. Additionally, sellers now have the flexibility to create international rate tables, benefit from an increased limit of 60 rate tables per store, undergo a mass clean-up of inactive rate tables, and access a new landing page for convenient management.

Here’s a summary of our updates:

  • Improved region structure: We’re improving postcode categorisation for metro areas, regional hubs and more rural areas, meaning you can target your products to the right audience and location. (Coming soon)

  • More regions: We’re introducing more regions for major regional hubs, increasing from 76 regions to 115 regions available, so you can better target your listings to specific areas. (Coming soon)

  • Guided by Australia Post: These revamped regions align with Australia Post’s My Post Business and eParcel regions, improving your postage and delivery processes.

  • Shipping Rate Table updates:
    • International Rate Tables: Sellers can now create international rate tables with express, standard, and economy services.
    • Limit Update: Sellers now have an increased limit of 60 rate tables per store, up from 40, covering both domestic and international rate tables.
    • Mass Clean-Up: Rate tables with no active listings attached, unedited for over 12 months, will be deleted. Sellers can request additional deletions by providing a list of specific names to customer service.
    • New Landing Page: Introducing a rate table landing page for convenient management of the full list without using a dropdown list.

What’s next?

From next month, you will be able to begin using the new rate table regions. However, if you’d like to access the new regions, you will need to create new rate tables in your store’s Account settings. You can download the new region sheet from the Postage Rate Tables Seller Centre page as well as access our helpful How to guide

Please note, you can't edit your existing rate tables to access the new regions.

This change came out of your feedback in our recent rate table survey, so thanks to all the sellers who filled this out.
