Is it better to list an item as Handmade or just Unbranded? Do buyers
shy away from Handmade? I find well-known brands do sell quicker and for
a higher price....but often a handmade item is just as good (or better).
I am referring to Clothing.
Yes, my sales have dropped in the last few weeks. Seems to be less
viewings, too.I put the reason down to higher cost of living, winter
blues, competition from other selling platforms, and postage rises.
"Home made" sounds cosy, but it depends on the type of item. A home made
blouse doesn't sound as good as home made jam or artwork.Home made
clothing doesn't speak "quality" to me, even though it can be better
than factory made.
I had a similar problem with a Cobalt Blue top (12 pics). The buyer said
it was navy. I told her it didn't qualify for a refund from me and asked
Ebay to step in. They refunded her themselves with no bad marks on my
name. I'm happy but annoyed about ...
