It's got something to do with this new banner showing on the Post your
order page: "Introducing lower Australia Post rates! Enjoy up to 25%
off* domestic and 20% off* international postage when you buy labels on
eBay. *Discounts vary by destination"
Omg, what a mess, my postage is all over the place.I've just had a buyer
pay too much, which I will have to refund. But no wonder my sales are
hugely down for this time of year, most buyers will steer clear of this
chaos!
I have created a Zonos account, but I'm not putting in my card details
until I get another US order come through. If using Zonos still seems too
complex, I'll keep sending US orders under $100 as a gift.
You said "You will only pay the fees yourself if you choose to absorb
them, rather than passing them on to your buyers... ever heard of a
handling fee?", which I found a bit rude.
Obviously I realise I will need to charge a handling fee or raise my
prices if I don't want to absorb the extra fees. But I think the
question being asked was if the buyer or the seller will be paying these
fees.
