incorrect payment refunded - trying to revise invoice not working!!!

I have refunded the incorrect payment through PP, and gone back to the items sold page -> Actions -> send revised invoice But it is not working, whenever I hit the recalculate button a minus sign pops up with the original amount down in the total amo...

buyer did not wait for revised invoice, and has now paid without the postage cost, how do I rectify this?
