HDMI Buy it now price leaps from advertised $1 to $4.95 even when ordering smallest length. Fraud?

HDMI cable, lots at buy it now $1, but when you select 1m the prices changes to $4.95. One 3m cable changed from $1 to $14.95 on selecting colour. All sellers include a "Cable joiner" for $1 though. Is this a scam?
