I had a message in my email from ebay, but when i went to see if it was in messages in ebay it was not, is this a scam.

i bought an item and paid, next day seller sent a refund with no reason

What are the rules when you buy an item and the seller sends a refund and no reason why.

Why would a seller put email me only to find out more about item like a car or caravan. There is no message part showing to message by ebay.

no response when contacted
