Hello, I am not a very experienced seller yet, I mainly sell using the small satchel postage option. I print out the label via ebay no problems. However I just sold an item and this time i needed to use medium sized satchel. Was able to choose medium sized box/satchel for postage when i listed the item, however now that the item has sold and i went to print a label out via ebay, I cannot choose the medium size satchel as my postage option. I can only choose a medium size box as a postage option. Is the box the same a satchel? If i put the medium size box label on a medium size satchel is that ok?
My question is is it impossible to print out a medium size satchel postage label via ebay? Why do i only have the small and large satchel options available to me?
Thanks for your help.

Packaging now goes by weight.
Under 5 kg, if it will fit in a small satchel, then you can use a small satchel.
If it packs, it posts. -

If you sign up to MyPost Business, you can generate labels through there. It will even allow you import eBay orders, so you don't have to C&P the address. As there is no eBay Medium satchel, you would have to be using an AP one anyway.
Unless you are using your own packaging, in which case weight pricing applies. If that's the case, it will almost certainly be more expensive, so I suggest you buy a single medium satchel from AP for 25c.

I've got the same issue. I've just figured out how useful the print postage label feature is, it's saved me heaps of time going to the post office, but there's not medium satchel option. Only small and large. A small is $8.90 or there abouts, a large is $14.50 which line up with the auspost satchel prices. There should be a $12 meduim option but no deal.
I brought a 100 pack of ebay/auspost branded small and meduim satchels about three weeks ago, from the 'ebay' account so it doesn't make sense that the option isn't available.
The comments that 'if it packs it sends' are irrelevant too because that's not the case. If it fits in the bag and is under 5kg it posts, your item still has to fit the bag though. I've sent several items now in a medium satchel but had to pay the higher 'large' satchel price. I'm not keen on paying an extra $2 for every medium item I've got to send and I'm not confident that the medium box option will be accepted by auspost. Auspost is usually extremely rigid in their policies.
I would also appreciate some direction or feedback.

Sign up to MyPost Business, as has already been suggested, and do your labels through there.

eBay medium satchels are the same size as the AP branded medium satchels, which are sent for the same cost as AP medium size boxes. Therefore it is fine to select the medium box option. The descriptions were changed when AP upped the weight limits of all their satchels to 5kg, but once again eBay didn't update their site properly.
This also applies to the XL eBay satchels where you can select XL box.
