In summary,

$35 sale price + 12 postage

20% of $35 = $7

Please tell me eBay is not taking fees on postage costs. They don't provide this service.

Strange how many people in this link believe eBay's charges are perfectly fine.... Hmmm

Ebay have being charging the same fee on postage as the sale price.  Thats being for 7 or 8 years now, to stop the scumbags who would sell an item for $2 but charge $50 postage.

Nothing new,  its a fee on the total price,  so not 20%.

Nobody thinks they are 'perfectly fine'.

But it's ebay's rules, so we have to play by them.

Apart from going elsewhere to sell, what would you suggest is an alternative?

And your math is all wrong re the fees.

Please read up on fees to make sure you know what you're paying.

Hmmm,  You don't know how fees are calculated, but want to complain anyway and then wish to complain about members who have taken the time to correct you.

If you don't know the basics, that ebay fees apply to the total invoice, then you should not be selling on ebay.

Now what is that saying , something about removing all doubt

Strange how you think the fees that have applied to every seller for years should for some reason not apply to you and so you try to make out we are the ones to hmmmmm about

Or is it that people here saw right through your attempt to 'twist' what you were charged...hmmmmmmm
