No reason given by eBay.This was done before I had a chance to pay. But on contacting the seller I was informed the item was withdrawn due to the pics shown in the listing may offend some people. As I bought the item within a very short time the listing was made I don't see any problem. If I was offended I wouldn't have made the purchase. Do I have any rights to the item?

Unfortunately no....if ebay removes an item then that is the end of it.
If you had already paid then the seller could probably have sent it to you but as it was not yet paid for then you have missed out.
