I have ordered an item does not match what I have ordered, the item a heater would, weigh about  2.6 kg , watched the tracking of it via Australia Post ,when it arrived it was an envelope weighing satchel 5 grams with a tooth brush in it , it matched the tracking number that's about it now waiting for the returning process if the seller accept it , if not wouldn't know what to do , about the same time ordered an android unit for my car with all the specs provided by the seller , when it arrived and opened it it didn't match what they have advertised , the seller responded, send a picture of your dashboard , so I did , the answer ,we'll be looking for one to match  your vehicle , all I wanted was the same as the one in the picture with the same specs that they have advertised , ( whats going on ))so looked at it , closed in its box same as it was got the return sticker, and  have sent it back ,now waiting for the result .now this is getting too much

You are going to be OK.    ebay treat this very seriously.  You should enjoy the knock at the door

and get your Parcel and rejoice.  ( I see you were Tracking This is Fun ) anyway getting back to your two cases you will receive your money back no matter what.   This is the most important ( if the seller cannot work it out with the seller ebay will step in Close The Case and refund your money.

You have to put a Resolution In. 2 Different ones.  Study Up on Seller Rights and follow Links.

This is unacceptable to ebay to have sellers trading on their Platform like this.

Mistake I made ( if the Selller cannot fix the problem ) ebay will step in no matter what and give favour to buyer YOU WILL BE REFUNDED EVEN IF HIA ACCOUNT IS CANCELLED

The first case seems to be a scam, so you should open a case for "item significantly not as described" before you return the item. Don't just wait for the seller to accept your return before they issue a refund because they most probably won't if they are scammers.

guess it was a scam , got my money back , thanks ebay  ,I was about to give up losing confidence in buying , after this happening I bought another heater ,first think I have done is test it ,it works , then gave a five star to the seller , so happy just can not describe , I had a good run buying from ebay never a problem but this last few weeks I had nothing but problems and the heater was just one of ,now I hope It'll get back to normal the way it was

I can see that one of the sellers who left fb for you in the past month is no longer registered and people say he or she was a scammer. Other people received a toothbrush instead of their item. This seller also had a heater in his sold listings, so I guess this is the seller.

As the seller is no longer registered, you won't be able to communicate with him/her, but it does not matter, as eBay now knows and if you contact eBay you should get a refund very soon.

h, and keep the envelope with the tracking number. It is a good proof the heater could not be in there...
