Hi there,   I have purchased a powersupply component for my PS4 console and the pin that connects the powersupply to the PS4 does not fit. The seller did list in the description that it was a 4 pin version, but my console came with a 5 pin cable. I did not know there were actually 2 different types of pins that connects to the power supply. I thought all PS4 consoles were the same.   I bought this electrical part anyways because seller had stated 'returns accepted, buyer pays for postage', so I thought if anything goes wrong, I am able to return and refund the item.   The seller is refusing to refund the item for me and saying that I was at fault for not doing research before purchasing, yes I understand that but if he stated that NO RETURNS unless item was faulty or labled incorrectly then I will agree, no refunds!   They have stated that eBay charges a listing fee and if they refund this item they will lose money; I will pay for all postage payments including that fee to the seller.   Please tell me if im wrong and have no rights to ask for a refund and if there is anything that I can do to help myself in this situation.   Thanks ... Hi there I purchased what was described as a sterling silver bangle, but it's solid brass with silver tone plate which has worn through so thin the bangle actuallylooks yellow/pale gold-ish and stinks of brass. Want to return it but have noticed the seller has a "no returns accepted" policy on the listing.   So if the seller refuses to accept the return, is it best to go through Ebay or Pal Pal and can I attach photo's with a pay pal resolution?   (I paid via Pay Pal)   thanks you for your help 🙂   ... Purchased an item, had to wait 4 weeks before I could open a dispute. Seller is now NARU but the dispute resolution says I have to wait until 15th Aug. I think I've waited long enough. There is no option to escalate when the seller is NARU. GRRRRR. Does anyone know how to go about this.   I tried the contact eBay carp but it says there is no option to email regarding this and to go to the resolution centre which only allows me to send the seller a message. I have had recent dealings with a seller who is charging a premium for a product as it is located in my region and offers fast delivery. However, after recieving my payment the delivery date blew out by 3 weeks.  The seller is advertising on their items that the stock is in Sydney Australia and uses Couriers Please (Local Courier) for fast and free postage, I prefer to support my local sellers and am happy to pay more for it. After buying the item and contacting them 2 weeks later I now find that the item is now in Hong Kong and using standard postage and still another week away. I needed the item last week when it said it would be here, another reason for trying to use a local. I then checked the negative feedback and it seems this seller has been doing this for a long time and on many items, a quick look at their store found that most of the items listed are posted as in stock Sydney when they are all in Hong Kong. Prior to me purchasing the item delivery date said 29/07/2016 to 01/08/2016 yet now as pictured  How do we keep the sellers honest, it only makes the good sellers look bad. ... View more

Yesterday i submitted a "best offer" for an item with about 5 hours before the listing ended. I never got a response so a couple of minutes before it ended i selected "buy it now" for the listed price. My account shows this item in my purchase history as awaiting payment. It was listed as "pick up only" so i have contacted the seller for the address. I have not had a response for this enquiry either.   This morning i noticed that the item has been relisted!   The item is a second hand 3in1 bathroom light/heater/fan so it is highly unlikely that the seller has multiple of the same item for sale.   I tried to find out how to release the sellers contact details so i could phone up to confirm the purchase but i can't find where this option is. Hi All.   I purchased a coat. After I'd promptly paid for it (within 5 mins of purchase), seller said she couldn't post for 1 week because she was going away. I said that was okay. When the item arrived I saw it had 3/4 sleeves and NOT full length sleeves. At no stage did the seller mention this feature- an important one in a rain proof trench coat (!). I responded by saying I was not happy about this. Seller said "I am selling lots of my clothing and not all details come to mind". Have checked her site. She has only sold 7 items in the last 12 months and purchased 30 items. What should I do please? I am not super savvy with eBay. Postage is not cheap with a coat. A Seller claims to have sent a replacement item after negative feedback was received about the original transaction. The Seller lodged their feedback revision request around the same as the replacement item was posted. The feedback revision request will be closed before the replacement goods are received.   If the Buyer accepts the feedback revision request (within the 10 day window) are they able to lodge or post their revised feedback much later - like two weeks later when the replacement goods finally arrive?  ... the motor for the magnetic stirrer does not start up at all, even though the digital display says it is operating.  I contacted the vendor who has responded a number of times, and they ended up asking for a video of it not working, which i emailed to them. the last message i recieved from them advised me to fix it by tightening a screw. i advised 3 times in various messages that i had done this as it was in the troubleshooting section of the manual. this is not the problem as the motor doesnt run at all.. display says it is in operation. now it has been a few days and no further response had been sent from them. what should be my next action? make a claim through ebay or paypal? which is more effective? what are the differences in the actions taken by them?   cheers for any advice ... Item was damaged in packing (not in transit) and arrived in a condition well below what was advertised.  I recieved an email from eBay stating that a Return Label could not be supplied (not sure why?), and that I would need to pay for return shipping myself and be reimbursed.  I posted the item back to the Seller, and recieved a refund of the Purchase Price + Original Shipping (EUR 26) but not Return Shipping (AU$26.47).   According to this link, the Seller is responsible for Return costs, when the item was returned because it was not as advertised: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/return-item.html#shipping-charges   I've kept the reciept from postage (which I can provide), and it was sent registered (sign on delivery) to ensure the Seller couldn't claim he didn't recieve it.   The problem is that eBay has closed the Return, and I can no longer see any options to either A) contact the Seller again, or B) ask an eBay representative to "step in".   How do I claim the remaining AU$26.47?   Thanks. ... I am having trouble with some German Vendors including MkSt - VAT in their prices to me as an overseas buyer (in Australia).  VAT is NOT applicable on o/seas sales & I suspect that if not breaking the law, these vendors are making a handsome profit (+19%) as they do not have to report VAT in returns to tax man for o/seas sales. I usually query if VAT is on an item and most will adjust where necessary.  However some say n/a & then make the mistake of sending an invoice with the goods which clearly shows VAT included in total price. Also have had a case where vendor has said no VAT & then gone to website where it says that VAT is included in the price of all items! I have noticed that some sellers extend the estimated delivery date by another months. I have been prepared to wait longer, no problem. Now I find that a multiple purchase has been deleted from my purchase history and details are no longer available. Although the items have not been reveived. I bought an item on COD (will never do it again)Whilst waiting for the package to arrive I started to wonder how the seller wanted to receive my payment(Bank cheque,cash at the door or post office, debit card) Seller labled the item as sent.  I had a tracking Number, but it would not track. He sent a message asking me how I would pay for it. I could not pay for it until it arrived as it was COD. We both thought it would be a good idea to cancel the order and reorder . I suggested that he close the open request and I have not been able to contact him since.  Ebay tried to put it through Paypal but was unble to do so because it was COD. I had no recourse but to open a case on him. I don't know what to do. How do I resolve this? I have thought long on this and I was puzzled when another seller emailed to say that he could not validate my address when prior to buying his item I had received another item to my door no problem.
