I bid on an item that had postage added and I paid for the item and postage then next day was sent an email that the item was retracted and my money refunded because she said that there was a mistake and it was pickup only. I thought that once the bid was done it was binding and you couldn't back out. I wasn't even given the option of paying more postage if that was problem. can the seller do this

I am tired of giving feedback to sellers then they can not be bothered to give me my feedback. So now I tell the sellers that I have received their items and I am happy but I will leave feedback after they do it to me. After I sent the message to a seller they ignored me and put items on a month had past so I asked again. Iwas told they would not do it, so yes I gave the a negative. I received this message from them. <Removed> I reported this to both ebay and police as always nothing can be done. So why is he allowed to send this kind of message and get away with it.

I purchased a phone charm on Ebay three weeks ago, from the UK, but it still has not arrived. I contact the seller who has sent me proof (reciept) of postage, but I still do not have my phone charm. Aside from just waiting, what can if it does not turn up, please? I feel bad asking of a refund from PP, but what else can I do if it doesn't arrive?

I bid on an item and I swear it had a price for postage because I remember doing the calculation in my head and comparing it to the price of another similar item. Anyway I went camping for the weekend (no internet service) and when I came back I found I had won the auction, the only hitch being now the ad read "pick up only" and the seller lives in another state. I messaged them to explain that I thought they offered postage and to ask them if they would mind posting it or we could mutually agree to cancel the sale if that was agreeable and am yet to hear back. Im wondering what the possible outcome of this situation could be and if this has happened to anyone else. Im racking my brains trying to work out f the mistake was mine or a glitch with the app. I find it hard to believe I would make such a huge oversight as I'm basically lazy and prefer to receive my goods through the post! I am a long time member with Ebay, and now i have tried to buy an item , i get to the end of filling in all relevent questions and geto Pat pal and all i get is a repeat of filling in all my credit card details, time and again! Regards Carole Libauer, Cooma, Australia. What do you suggest?

I've recenlty purchased a vinyl (LP) described as NM, M- in the sellers description Received it and found it's scratched and scuffed, generally in a pretty poor condition. I would grade it as G at best I've back and forthed over eBay messages with the seller who denies that the record is scuffed and scratched. Even after me sending clear photos of the terrible state of this record. Yet after receiving the pictures he is now suggesting I've sent photos of a different record (with the same inner label!) or I've scratched up the record myself. I started a return/refund process, yet now the seller is now giving me the impression that when recieved he'll either deny it's the same record or in the same state as he sent it (that I've damaged it) I've spent nearly $120 for this LP incl postage, to return it (international postage with tracking) isn't going to be cheap. Is this going to blow up in my face and I'll be further out of pocket? Or will eBay back me and ensure I get a refund?

Ebay seller benbeneshop. Sent me a message through ebay and my email. That the item (a battery for a laptop) could no longer be sent and that now. It was up to me to cancel the transaction!!!, somehow. Even though in an email, only moments before, decleared that the item has been sent it. I obviouly can not send back an item I have not recived or will recive. Nor cancel an item, notified as sent to ebay. But notifed to me personaly as impossibe to send. Please somebody help.

I bought a flashlight from seller <Removed>. I sent a few emails asking to inform me if the item has been shipped or not. The seller is not replying. I need you to get my money back from this seller. Why you let this kind of people to do business and take money from buyers like me. I am not happy with this and this never happend to me. If you don't take action about this I can't trust to do any purchase. One more thing I though the seller is in Australia but his base is in China. When I was purching the flashlight it says that it is in Australia.

Hi, I had win an auction for a Macbook Pro with Ebay money guaranty back. I had payed money through paypal. I communicated with seller almost everyday. However, I asked him about tracking number - or recipe because he used Aus Post express service. He said there is no tracking number because of reasons and he put recipe somewhere can't find. According to Ebay Est delivery, it should be delivered on Monday 08/02/2016. On Wednesday, i requested to Ebay Resolution Center. Seller said he will full responsible for that. and we contact every to if i received it let him know and close the request. Yesterday, he asked me dispute resolution on Paypal. i have tried and Paypal said i already did it in ebay and in some case paypal will not help me to refund money ( I don't trust Paypal Protection because there are some nonsense policies to me). I also emailed him about that. and mention he can refund me now. otherwise I will have to ask help from Ebay. The request will be end at 14/02. Therefore i will ask help from you. was it correct things that i should do ? Will i get money back ? I am really worry and upset.

Confusing. Customer support states a max of $300 for all transactions but T & C states: 3. The offer entitles you to 10% off the purchase price (excluding postage costs) when you spend $100 or more in one transaction during the Offer Period, for up to 3 transactions and up to a maximum discount of $300 per transaction. 10. The total discount is capped at $300 per transaction. Limit 3 transactions per person during the Offer Period. Ebay LIVE Chat states max of $300 for all transactions! Can anyone clarify? Thanks.

What is to stop a seller refunding your money because the item didn't sell for enough money?

Hi all, I put a winning bid (no one else bid), on a motor vehicle by seller sv8933. He wouldn't answer messages or calls before auction end, and eventually I found out why. Finally, after I could reach the guy, I found that the item was so poorly and inaccurately described, I had to cancel the transaction. The photos were vague, it was like playing 'try to spot the difference', obvious bad points weren't even mentioned. Then he relists, and guess what, he names me by buyer ID, AND has the hide to call ME a time waster. If this happens to you, contact ebay, as they say, it is a 'clear breach of ebay policy'. It also helps if you take descriptions with a grain of salt. They can be HIGHLY misleading. Cheers.

Ebay suggests I increase my "high bid" but doesn't offer auto bidding. Is this automatically auto bidding or is it because there is a reserve price or somesuch?

Yesterday I won a bid on an item that started at $180.00, so basically I bid $201.00 last second to try and guarentee that I won it, and i did. However when I went to pay my order came to $180.00, the starting bid, I was also the only person that bid on the item once it ended. Why exactly did this happen?

Hi, I did send an order to gogo-life for one item On the 12-10-2015 I receice the parcel with the wrong color The seller send me Yellow instead of Brown after contacting the seller the contact was very bad I decided to contact ebay for help. On the 30-10-2015 the seller pretended he did resend and ebay cut the help on the 8-11-2015 To this date today 31-12-2015 I never received my order. ebay cancel the customer help whithout knowing if the seller resend or not. No proof whatsoever. To this day today the 31-12-2015. I still haven't received my order. I contacted ebay many times to reopen the dispute without success. I start to ask myself somes questions. Is ebay work for the seller and the buyer help is only a gimmic. ebay never answer about my request to open a dispute. It is now 3 months I did put my order in and paid with PayPal. After so many contact with the seller I can't count them nothing is appening. Please can you tel me what I should do. the money back guaranty doesn't work. So I send an order fo an item paid for with PayPal and after 3 months I have nothing is this normal ???? Can please help me to at least get my resend in a propre order through ebay ??? Hi ebayers, I made a sucessful bid for a puppy crate, 'local pick up only' and nothing else specified for delivery conditions. When I've contacted the owner they've told me I can't pick up till after 5 weeks time? I get my pup in 2 weeks, I'm specifically only bidding on local pick up to make sure I get it in time. Is there some time limit that applies so I can cancel the transaction? Seems unfair to have to wait over a month without this specified? Any help appreciated.

I purchased three quilts from overseas and each had a flat sheet as welll. They were great so I emailed the shop to see if they had pairs of sheets the same. They said yes and I could buy some. I was happy to do that but apparently it is against EBay rules to do that. How to you purchase something from a warehouse if they have not listed everything. I am not getting bargain or anything.
