Hi all,   I purchased an iPhone from a new seller a couple of nights ago and paid for it through PayPal.  The next day the seller marked it as posted and provided a tracking number - or so I thought.  I then noticed that they've actually entered the item number -  252194315680 - in the tracking number field, which seemed very suspicous to me. I've contacted them a couple of times asking for the correct number but have had no response.  I've also alerted eBay that this person has given me a dodgy tracking number and they're 'looking into it'....   I'm not overly concerned by this, as I know I'm covered by PayPal if the phone doesn't arrive. I'm also aware that I have to wait until the last day of the estimated postage time frame before I can lodge a dispute.  My question is, as this person is reasonably new to eBay and has no feedback as a seller, will PayPal hold their funds for 21 days?  If they are running a scam, it would be nice to know that they've wasted their time because they'll never see the money   Thanks for any help you can give me..... ... Hi everyone   I received an item that was far bigger than the measurements on the listing and want a refund. I am happy to return the item. Seller is not being very friendly about it and dusputes the fact that her measurements were incorrect even though I have carefully measured it and sent her photo's of the item precisely measured with a tape measure in the photos. She is now saying she wants it returned and wants me to do a return item option through ebay. I'm not sure though that she won't get the item back and then try to argue against the refund or do a runner. Would you recommend that I use the ebay 'return this item' option or go through pay pal?   thanks for your help! ... Hi there, we had messaged Ebay Customer service to advise the problem we are have been experiencing with the Seller, and they've advised us that the seller has removed the item from the site? They then told us to follow instruction by clicking on Resolution Centre and follow the instructions which we had and this is what came up after clicking on the item we have problems with. We're sorry there's an issue with your purchase. Since you bought this item on Australia site, please go to Australia site try to resolve your problem. But the link is not working? When I search for an item and find it in the list of items to choose from where it shows a buy it now price listing free postage how can it be that when I click on the link it then is the price plus extra for delivery? Isn't this false advertising and therefore illegal? ... View more

Hi , I contacted the seller 3 days and 18 hours after winning an item that was cash on pickup  to arrange pick up but they replied that as I  failed to organise collection and payment within three days they were not obligated to sell the item to me and will be relisting it. Please help me .To cut the story short,  I purchased an item 5th Oct due to arrive 12-13th by 16th I contacted seller got details & tracking number of freight company by email on  19th. the parcel I tracked to Perth warehouse. They took 2 more days to deliver it as they couldn't locate it . when I received it on 21st , The box  was damaged and when opened other parts were discovered to be broken too. . I contacted the seller straight away and sent photos of it's condition. He apologised for inconvenience and said he would send a replacement,everyday he has asked me to check different things to do with this item but, when I ask when the replacement will arrive he ignores my question.on 28th I told him I had had enough of this stalling and would take it to the Ebay BUYERS PROTECTION RESOLUTOIN BOARD I wrote an email last night but don't know if they got it as I didn't get a copy to my own email even although I ticked the box for it and Ebay hasn't responded to let me know if they received my request for assistance.  How do I go about this, do I contact PAYPAL or Ebay and please tell me what catagory I am suppose to put. there are so many and none seem to match what help I need. When I contacted the seller, I received the message to go to their website to read the instructions. Not knowing where to look for their website, my name isn't Muttley for nothing, I asked if they could copy the unstruction from their website and forward them to me, to my e-bay messages. In reply, I was told that they are now on their holiday, which is perfectly acceptable. I was also told that unless I leave 5 star feedback, they would be unable to help me further. I bought a dress recently which never arrived. I contacted the seller and opened an enquiry, the seller told me they would send another one. It has still not arrived and now eBay have told me that the item isn't covered by their money back guarantee. I paid on paypal and the seller recommended pursuing a refund from paypal but the transaction record for this item on the paypal website just links me back to eBay. I recently bought a small, not very expensive item on ebay.   The item description said it was rosewood. The item when it arrived was pine, dyed dark brown.   I left negative feedback, stating why. The seller offered a refund if I changed the feedback to positive! I declined, and the item is still on sale as 'rosewood'.   I don't want refund or return, I want the seller to alter the fradulent listing. Hi All I purchased item number 271931195197 on 23nd July and paid with pay pal. Seller address and item location was Melbourne Victoria. She messaged me the following day to say she had posted it that day (24th July) and as we are same State and from her post code to mine takes 2 business days, it should have been here Tuesday 28th which was the estimated delivery date. Item has not turned up and I have messaged the seller twice in the last 24 hours to confirm when it was posted but have been ignored. (item was supposed to have tracking but didn't )   So today I clicked on the 'item not received' and when asked which item was not received, clicked on the item and a message came up saying the item was purchased on a US site and to log in to the US ebay, which I did. On there I followed the same 'item not received' and it came up as the item is not yet over-due because the estimated delivery date is not until August 3rd and I can't proceed until after that date!!   What's going on? It didn't look as if it was posted on a US site and payment was in AU not US and estimated delivery was 4 days ago not August 3rd!!     Seller still ignoring me...   Advice please 🙂  ... View more
