Yesterday, I drove right across the town (about 2 hour drive there and back) to pick up 4 very heavy concrete planters, which I only bid on when the seller assured me they will help me to load them. Made an appointment for around 10, arrived 10.10 and there was nobody home. My planters were in the driveway, behind heavy pot with very prickly cactus, and other heavy items. I could not hang around for too long as I had another appointment. I managed to move the items, which were in my way, and managed to get the pots in my car. It took me some 20 minutes, and I really do not know how I did it. They are almost 50cm across and each weighs a ton. I left the cash in a safe place, and when I got home I emailed telling them where the money is. The seller marked them as sent, but never a word of apology, or thanks for the cash. I understand that sometimes things just happen, and if they said sorry we were not able be at home, I would be OK with it. But, I would not have bid if they told me they cannot help me to load them. Most of other people would not have even considered moving them alone, and would have no choice but to just turned around and go back home. My back is killing me and I am pretty angry, so does the seller deserves NEG for their rudeness and lack of consideration? By the way, this was 3rd time that I got to pick up something and there was nobody at home, my item sitting on the doorstep, and the 2x previous times I was spot on on time. But it did not matter as the items were easy to carry and the only worry i had was leaving cash under the mat. i think next time somebody does this to me, I will not leave the cash and pay them with Pay Pal when I get home.
