Well I might tell my story if you don't mind.
I purchased a cardboard item and I think it was about ten years old so I was not expecting anything mint condition.
I received an email from the seller saying she had refunded me $2.00 because she found a water stain on the item. It only cost $7.00 before the refund.
When the item turned up I spent a long time examining it to try to find this water stain. Sure I found it but it was barely noticeable and the mark was something I would take for granted being on such an item made from cardboard and being over 10 years old.
What a lovely seller.
I do hope someone else comes along and tells their good news story.
(BTW mine took place a month or two ago.)

I also have a good news story.
Paid late last week for an item of stationery (quite heavy) and was not expecting it to be sent before Tuesday because of the public holiday.
On Tuesday I received an email from the seller to apologising for the delay in sending the item as she had been sick. I replied that it was not a problem. On Wednesday morning I get another message that it had been sent Express post (5kg satchel) and a smaller version of my purchase added to the package.
The seller must have lost big time on the whole deal because I had only paid $4.75 for the item and $14.00 odd for postage.

I don't buy much online, but my last few purchases have arrived in very good time. Even a 100m roll of bubblewrap sent to my PO Box. And a book from the UK I ordered on the Saturday arrived the next Friday. They couldn't have made any money on it after freight from UK to Melbourne, then AP to Canberra, but I don't feel any sympathy as they were initially not disclosing their dropshipping and the only thing Australian about them is their name. And they're a competitor. 😮

Ok: only good news
I sent something to U.K. and it arrived in FOUR DAYS and I received positive feedback.

That certainly is good news grevillea, although it was quite common only a few years ago. I can remember paying for something on Friday night and having it delivered early on Monday morning. Those were the days.;-)

I have experienced some very good service from a number of sellers, but not quite like any of the above examples (even though I would call their service exemplary), so in lieu of a good seller story, I'll just take the opportunity to say I have awesome buyers. :-x
There's not a lot (in general) buyers can do that's 'above and beyond', but they can go the extra mile - I've received some messages that have really made my day, and I've had a few send me extra funds (or refuse an offered discount) because they thought what they bought was worth more (or at least the original quote).
For a particular anecdote, after hearing so many horror stories about American buyers, I've been reluctant to opening up my listings worldwide, however I did recently have a US resident find and contact me, requesting a custom item for a renaissance fair in March.
My reply was kind of yeah, I can do that, but you might be better off going with someone else that's local... Still seemed keen, so I agreed to make it. Then I realised I couldn't quite make it exactly as originally discussed, so offered to give a 20% discount for the item as is, or try to source some material that would make it work. Both options refused - this was my first international sale (at least for one of my custom items - I've sold DVDs and comics to OS buyers before), and I couldn't have asked for a better customer - he even sent me a Happy Australia Day email. 🙂 (I threw in a bonus item that I sell for a bit more than the discount I offered 😉 ).

I had a newbie buyer purchase 2 items from me but it took her 2 weeks to pick up the items.
She knew I was a tad miffed about it, so when she finally did pick up, she showed up with a jar of home made lemon marmalade as a 'peace offering'. It was yummy. 🙂

Ohhhhhh, that tops the lot. THAT IS lemon marmalade made with love. Won't be forgotten I am sure.
