Advised click and collect is broken

So my second experience with click and collect. Yep it is days slower than Aussie Post direct to me but being able to pickup after hours was what I needed so all good. 

Waited and waited. Following tracking number. Says delivered with signature? I ring Aus Post, they have it delivered to the store. I ring EBay support, they tell me the system is broken and is not sending codes (sometimes?). Why are they not emailing me and apologising? Took me to chase it until I was told to go to the store and ask for the parcel and then the store staff have to ring ebay and confirm and WHAT? Ebay are UNABLE to re-send or generate a code. Makes click and collect pretty much rubbish if I can't rely on it and I have to chase it up.

Back to Auspost I guess, .... or a competitor

Don't understand how it can be slower, as delivery from the seller to the  CnC  point of your choosing, is still carried out by, (Drum Roll), Australia Post

I know right. Just my experience of course. There must be a cost somewhere to have a 3rd party handle it so perhaps that cost is offset by posting en-masse at less regular intervals? Whatever the case I chatted to the person at Woolies and got my parcel with minimal fuss from their end. Funny story though, I commented that while I didn't see the master password that opened all the lockers (which they had to do to find mine) it looked a bit basic to which they blurted out the full passcode 'yeah its blah followed by blah so simple' they say. The look of horror when they realised what they had done was priceless. Good thing I am not crimially inclined!
