Annoying Buyers who do not pay, still show 100% - Unfair!

The dishonesty of some people who will not even keep there end of the deal.

.

DO NOT BID on an item, when you know you will not pay for it.

.

They DO NOT reply back to messages.

.

We cannot leave negative feed back, instead we have to open a case with ebay.

.

STOP wasting our time.

.

In the end is it really about resolving a case of unpaying bidders?

.

The days when we could demerit slack ebayers was more honest.

.

Where is the justice??? There 100% rating is untrustworthy, not fair.

.

Has anyone else dealt with annoying unpaid buyers?

Unfortunately buyers cannot recieve negatives so will always show 100% feedback.  As long as sellers go through the unpaid process these buyers will ge tthe strike they deserve and will not be able to buy at all.

The non-payment strike system does not work.

I have my blocks in place.

I still get non-payers.

I get more non-payers than I do blocked bidders.

The current strike system does not protect seller from these money wasting non-paying pests. eBay needs to do more.

Yes it is annoying there are buyers out there that buy and do not pay however e-bay has the unpaid item pricess and when closed buyers recive a strike.  As long as you have your blocks in place they will not be able to buy from you.

may I ask if the non payers that you get are first time offenders or offenders whose sellers have left positive feedback for rather than issuing a strike through the appropriate process?

or are they repeat offenders with more than one stike which your blocks are failing to block?

Yes catspjs I have my blocks i place too and I still get Non payig bidders.  I was saying that once they recive strike they should not be able to purchase from sellers with blocks.  Dosn't mean you wont get new ones unfortunately

They can't purchase with 2 or more if that's the way the seller has set them.

Like said a new non payer or someone with 1 strike will be able to buy.

And yes if only sellers had opened cases instead of leaving false positives.   Smiley Frustrated

I understand that Kopes, but blaming other sellers for eBays failure to educate or improve the current status quo, does not bring me any comfort - nor am I the type to - IMO the at-fault parties are the non-payers and eBay for a lack of protection for sellers, particualrly new ones who are most vulnerable to these pests.

If blocks were automatically set on a default for new IDs and they had to be removed by sellers - i reckon this would have at least some positive impact over time for all of the eBay community.

Not blaming but pointing out, that is part of the problem.

Totally agree with you.

I advocate auto blocks on ALL accounts with perhaps 3 months before the first block is retracted enabling an account to buy but still has the second that won't retract for a further 3 months.

There wouldn't be a problem with non-payers for BIN items if the shopping cart was fully functional. It is now 4th December and we were told it was to be up and running in October. Another eBay fail.

(and I wonder why I don't get free listing offers on this ID  ๐Ÿ™‚

I don't see what difference the shopping cart will make, you don't have to add things to your cart and even if you do you can remove any number of items and only pay for some.
