Beware of any warranty

Recently I purchased a replacement lithium battery for my Dyson vacuum cleaner.

The seller advertised a 3-year warranty.

However, within 6 months it went dead. The seller ignored my complaint.

I have learned from my mistake: such warranty in E-bay is useless.

Moreover, I have learned that Ebay cannot punish the seller.

I believe the seller is still advertising procuct the same way until now.

Yes, I saw the post by Imastawka. But the OP hasn't said that it was a Chinese seller. I want to know if it is or isn't. So until the seller confirms or denies, we don't know where the seller is!

Stawks posted that when the seller's ID was still up and I checked it as well - still I guess if you won't believe either of us then you should pm ozlearner.....................

"we don't know where the seller is!"                You may not, but others here do 4channel.

Re: Beware of any warranty

Most of the helpful posters read these threads before the Moderators do their jobs and we DO know where the seller is located.

Three of us can assure you the seller is in China....but does it really matter?

You can still offer your platitudes without knowing where the seller is located.....after the OP has been given useful help.

thing is, the Opening Post was available for viewing for 3 hours before it was edited.  So, as lyndal has pointed out, there are members who saw the Post in that 3 hours (including me).

If the OP copped an email from a moderator for violating posting policy they might not be inclined to come back to this thread.

Not surprised at your day Stawks.....I was in CS too.

I sometimes wonder if it is worth trying to help people.

Re: Beware of any warranty

to people of sound mind it would be clear that you were one of the first to see the thread when it was first posted.  I can see you replied within minutes and the edit didn’t happen for 3 hours. Clearly you had a chance to see where the seller was registered.

I think someone, given some of their previous posts have include biblical references, might change their ID to doubtingthomas.

Spoiler
that post in CS by another poster, the one I will not go into detail about, was way out of line.

I've had run-ins with that poster before.   handbag smiley.gif

It actually put my eyebrows on the back of my head to see Dave posting in CS

My bathroom reno has now entered it's 6th week.  Showering in the back yard is wearing my patience a little thin.
