I am posting on this forum to let people know how I feel about this private purchase of a sideboard that was advertised on eBay.
The sideboard was advertised on eBay as being approx 2.5 meters and because the description of the size was what I wanted, I made a bid. Before the auction ended, REMOVED contacted me about a second buyer who was also interested and asking if I was willing to beat him. I did and to show I was genuinely interested, I transferred the money the very same day.
That night while I was browsing through eBay I saw another one that looked exactly the same but with different measurements. I enquired about it and Sharon replied that it was only an estimation that she put on.
I don't know what's your definition of approximation is but to me the difference between 2.5m and 1.8m is too big to call it an approximation.
It's like going to a shop and pay for something but only get 2/3 of what you paid for.
REMOVE told me that she lost bidders because she pulled the list off eBay already. I offered that she could keep part of the money and refund the rest back to me. She refused.
I can provide the communication between her and me and I only wish no other ebayer has to go through what I went through with codyclarke13.
Maybe I was too trusting in vendors. Maybe I expected more from people selling things. There was probably no other buyer. It certainly wasn't 2.5m long. 30% error is not an approximation. It was a mistake. A mistake that she should have paid for - not me. Do not trust her. Her word means nothing.

Easy, it's on your feedback page when you leave it...............be aware though that leaving 3 stars or less can give the seller a defect on their account which can severely impact their selling.

If, however, you bought off eBay, as in not through eBay, you can't.
eBay feedback is for eBay transactions.

If you are talking about the item that this thread was starrted about you are well out of time. You bought it early in November and can only leave feedback for 60 days.

How would I leave star rating/comment if the item was bought off the eBay?I have a roll of paper that I use for just this situation . . . . . . I keep it in my ensuite right beside the seat I sit on when I check my emails on my mobile in the morning.
To borrow from the classics......."Eeeewww".
How am I supposed to get that picture out of my head now?
