Buyer beware!!! Items from Overseas that take from one week to 3 months to arrive.

Buyer beware!!! Items from Overseas that take from one week to 3 months to arrive. You can't put in a complaint that it hasn't arrived until the due date and then its too late to put in a complaint..This is a tactic used to extract money from us..   Don't buy anything from overseas unless the delivery date is less then a month ..  Ebay you need to fix this!!!

What's the estimated delivery date?

And why would you wait 3 months if the date is only a few weeks?

Use the tools that ebay provide you with, to get a refund.

Open a case for INR as soon as the date allows.

Yep it's eBay's fault when buyers ignore the poor feedback of the Asian based sellers that they choose to buy from.

I'm not sure that is correct.

My understanding is you can't open an item not received case with ebay till after the due date, but you can certainly open it in the days following that.

When you buy something on ebay, you can see the estimated arrival date range. Never assume it will come much faster than that, it probably won't. It will come either just before or during the expected date range. If you're not happy with that estimate, don't buy.

If the estimated due date is 30 days out and you wait 3 months though, yes, you'll have left it too long and will have missed the boat for making an ebay claim.

What about a paypal claim? From memory, I think you have something like 180 days to open a claim with them so you may be able to get your money back that way.
