Counterfeit pandora ??

item number 282296227766

Was very interesting in purchasing items from this seller, however i have messaged twice now, within a span of 5 days regarding authenticity etc and no response at all.

I know these prices are very cheap, but was not sure, as maybe they were selling their own stock perhaps?  What do you all think, i find it so disheartening to have people selling on here, claiming authenticity, and not responding to emails, clearly these must not be authentic.

what do you all think

TIA

Good point, but as PJ said earlier,  Pandora used to be hot on the tail

of anybody trying to sell fake stuff.

Wonder why they're not as vigilant anymore?

Some time ago there was a discussion on the boards about Pandora.

Apparently there was only one seller on ebay who was authorised to sell Pandora.

Not being interested in Pandora I did not take much notice of who the seller was but the point was made that if you bought Pandora from any other seller you were probably buying a fake.

The Chinese produce excellent fakes, but they are easy to pick by those who know anything about it (which I'm not one of them.....I don't think I've even seen a Pandora bracelet in the flesh). Genuine Pandora is made in one place in Thailand.

I hope she got the right size.  You have to get one larger than you need,

because there has to be room to thread on the beads.

I've never seen genuine Pandora tarnish.   Fakes will tarnish very quickly.

The previous one felt okay but would have been tight if charms added. The new one (a size bigger), we put 5 charms on it & it seemed much better.

I am not sure if my daughter wants to fill it with charms. She only got a bracelet as her M-I-L brought back a charm from Italy and told her son he would have to buy her a bracelet for Xmas! (which he did).

I have to admit to knowing next to nothing about pandora before this. The bad reviews i read were on product review & so I don't know if they were fakes or not.

Had my fakes for years, most of them a dollar each at the local market. None of them are tarnished. Had to go hunt for it to see as I was over the 'look' very quickly. Could never see why people paid a fortune for what I considered rather ugly stuff, mind I wouldn't have an LV bag if you paid me so perhaps I am just not a lover of good taste lol.

They tarnish because of the wear and tear factor.  If you're not wearing them,

then the  'silver'  won't wear off and leave the brass showing.

I found what was fun for a while, was to take fake ones into the B & M store

to verify that they are real Pandora.

Even the staff can't pick them.      They conferred and verified.

Re: Counterfeit pandora ??

Pandora have a 'dob in a seller' link on their page.

Someone must've used it and they've swooped.

Wonder if they've nabbed anyone else?

edit:  just had a look, and the item # in the OP is in their completed listings.

If Pandora swooped, there would be no sign of it

Re: Counterfeit pandora ??

The recipient of the ones I buy has had some for about 5 years. They haven't tarnished, but I did buy them from a Pandora store, so I would certainly hope they are genuine .925.

Re: Counterfeit pandora ??

Some of the on-line fakes are pretty good.

All nicely stamped with Pandora and S925 and even ALE just for good measure.

So Pandora's own page telling you how to identify the genuine article, doesn't

really help much.

http://www.pandora.net/en-au/company/brand-protection/identify-products

Like I said, even their own staff in-store can't tell the difference.
