I have been sent a PayPal invoice for excess postage.... after the company have sent the goods and after I have received them.
This extra postage was not quoted at time of purchase. Sorry not through ebay but I can't find anywhere on PayPal to ask.
So what I am asking is....
Can PayPal take the money from my account without me authorising it?
Also can PayPal close or freeze my account or flag me if I don't pay it.
Thank you so much for help.

It wouldn't be PayPal it will be the seller and no you do not pay any extra. Just ignore it. PayPal will not take money from your account without your consent unless it is owed for eBay fees.
That at is very bad form from your seller to request more money after the fact, I would be inclined to leave appropriate feedback

I thought as much but just wanted to clarify. The invoice came from a company via a Paypal Invoice.
Unfortunatly it isn't an ebay purchase (just a regular online shop) so I can't leave feedback (just asked here as I couldn't find anywhere on Paypal site to ask).
Thanks so much for your response. It is greatly appreciated.

They had a going out of business sale and didnt let me know (as per their terms and conditions) prior to order being sent that the shipping would be more than I had already paid so now they are trying to get more money from me.
I would have cancelled the order if I had of known it was going to be so much. $77postage for goods valuing $55 as if I would pay more postage than what the goods are worth lol.
No way am I paying it. Just wasn't sure if PayPal could take it out of my account. I didn't think so but just wanted to make sure.
They have also deactivated their face book page. I have cancelled the invoice on PayPal (???) so if they send it again I will try to contact PayPal directly.
🙂

you would need to talk to someone in the legal field could be tricky .

little wonder they are going out of business, they can't even get their postage settings right.
They will eventually stop trying to get extra money from you . . . . when they DO go out of business. Until then just ignore the invoices as they are really only requests for money, requests you are entitled to ignore as you paid the postage that was quoted at time of purchase.

Not tricky at all,OP payed and received the item end of story.
No-one can demand extra payment after the horse has bolted period.
Just ignore them as they don't have a legal leg to stand on,and the nerve of them to try it anyway thinking that you're some one that's gullible enough to fall for it.

i half agree with you but i am just quering the terms & condition , i am just wandering if the op has paid any delivery fee at all, seams strange . if the op could show the terms & condition to a legal person it would help. it could be a case of read the fine print before you agree thing.

i am just wandering if the op has paid any delivery fee at all,
OP stated she was billed for extra postage.
She has paid what they quoted - end of story.
She has received the goods
