Does anyone else HATE this stupid Global shipping program?

I've found Global to be inflexible, expensive and frustrating. I've just had an item sent through it and of course it's under multiple carriers and the number I was given by WNDirect cannot be tracked. I've therefore paid for a Priority Mail service and received what was First Class without the tracking. I live in Australia and First Class International through the good old U.S. Post can now be tracked here. It is SO much better than what I just experienced and costs me so much less, but when a seller locks themselves into a Global listing, it appears that they can no longer override the invoice so I've just paid double for this rubbish! So not happy!!

shipping from US to AUS is soooo slow. It took 16 days for an item to arrive, whilst a purchase from a normal site took 5 days.

The idiots also confiscated a set of defibrillator pads telling me they are illegal in Australia!  **bleep**.  I am a health professional and could have proven this if they asked. But that is beside the point.  Anyone can buy them. They are a first aid item!

There is a seller in Qld that I buy all my medical supplies from. Way cheaper than buying from OS. They have pretty much anything you could think of, including defib pads. Only thing I need that they don't have are Tilley's forceps. If you have any of them going begging, please let me know!

I live in rural NSW and have never waited longer than 3 days for my items to arrive. They don't send express.

As for the GSP, I love it. I means I have access to so many more items than I could have before. Previously, I'd see so much on the US site that I wanted, but they wouldn't ship overseas. Now they do. Win win! Well, it's a win for me anyway.
