Is it just me or do other people find that the price people are trying to sell sold out baby bonds clothes not nice. These people are going and buying bulk lots of the baby bonds clothes then re-selling them on ebay for $150. I think this is so immoral. firstly they are buying in bulk and geniune people that just want to buy an outfit for their child miss out. Then they go and try and make a huge profit from them. I get that, that ebay is for making a profit and that people don't have to pay that much, but I honestly think its not very nice that they are buying them in bulk and making them sold out, just to make a profit.

Hello
Are you're in competition with these people and just throwing a tanty?
I suggest you re-read post # 5 back there
Sellers make profit. It's not a new concept

i can understand what your talking about ,but its allowed. and legal.
in the olden days and prob now, a group wholesaler at the wholesale fruit market would buy all lets say the beans , when the shop holders wanted to buy the beans that would normally sell for $50 a bag were only on 1 stand only ,out of 20 stands that would sell beans . and sell for $ 80 a bag it was called mafia tactics .loos like they are into baby clothes amazing.

no not the ones that start low and then people bid on. the ones that are buy it now for $150. Like I said I get that no-one is making them pay that much etc etc. Just think its bad form. Maybe it just me .. if anyone buys them they are going to be annoyed because bonds are re-releasing some of the ones that are up for $150.

People will pay according to "supply and demand" ..... probably more "demand". Many similar items have an identical selling pattern, from Buzz Lightyear toys to designer shoes ........ You will often see an ebb and flow in prices. Some who have listed for top price at the moment may not be getting the same price as, say two months ago, when there was less publicity. If you say Bonds are re-releasing some of these "rare" items, then you wouldn't be the only one who is aware of that ..... therefore prices will adjust accordingly on auction sites.
Many here reading this, might be thinking "gosh, I wish I'd purchased some of those jumpsuits to sell on ebay".

Show me any seller that isn't here to make a profit or any where else, except for non profit organisations.

What's the problem? No-one is forcing you to buy them at that price. Your baby won't self destruct if they don't have one of these "rare" outfits. I'm sure your baby won't really care as long as it's warm and dry.
I listed an item last night with a start bid of $4.99 and a buy it now price of $60. Within 5 minutes of it being listed, someone hit the buy it now. I paid $1.20 for that item. I didn't force the buyer to pay that. They wanted it and were happy to pay that price. Personally I think they were crazy, but it was their choice.
It's no different with these Bonds suits. If someone wants it that bad because their life with be over and their child will need lifelong therapy if they don't have one, they will pay it. If they know it's just a fad, then they will happily go to the store and buy something at a more reasonable price that their child will grow out of in a month or 2 anyway.
People often buy run out items, or hit the warehouses to buy in bulk. That's how some people make their money. There is no law against it. Maybe when these so called rare ones are rereleased, you could buy up big and when they run out, you could list them on eBay for $150. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

No not in competition with them and no not chucking a 'tanty'. I also don't think there is any need to be rude. Just stating an "opinion' that you could also do, without being rude. I personally would be proud of myself overcharging people (Which is different than making a profit) ..... but I guess thats just me.

I never said anything about being in competition, nor accused you of having a tanty. I also didn't think my reply was rude, but if you felt it was, then I apologise. It was not my intention.
