Be careful when buying batteries for your Dyson cordless vacuum. There are sellers giving misleading capacities of the batteries. Stating they are 8 amp or more .
none I contacted can guarantee this is correct .
They hope no one will test them . I do .

I buy any Dyson replacement parts directly from the Dyson website. Much cheaper than ebay, and I know I'm getting what I pay for.
Yesterday, I purchased a new powerhead from the website. It was $40 cheaper than the cheapest one on ebay and has free postage.

Be careful when buying such an item at all from an eBay seller
Unless they are authorised to sell them in the first place
Why risk what is most likely an unbranded knock off of the real thing?
Very doubtful they are tested
Are the sellers even registered in Australia?
Do you have any of the item numbers?

Plenty resellers selling unauthorised accessories.
If you want the right thing, pay the extra $$ and buy retail.
Otherwise you're just keeping these rubbish sellers in business.

If it's the one they left positive feedback for, even thou states incorrect output, then they are Based in china.. 99.1% feedback
And OP left positive feedback ''Seller refunded my money due to false advertising. The output advertised is not output measured with a multimeter and significantly less.''

You probably should read a bit more carefully.
The sale you mention is for LED headlight bulbs which were advertised incorrectly. Not Dyson vacuum cleaner replacement batteries. Which I have not purchased due to the wild claims.
The headlight bulbs had the incorrect output printed on the box from manufacture.
The seller did the responsible thing and refunded me. Therefore I felt there was no need for negative feedback to be given as they were just the middleman and were very helpful.
Thanks very much TippingPoint thats good advice !

Thanks for the Heads Up Tipping-Point.
I went to the Dyson site to find one.
I had a battery lined up at Amazon
22.2V 3000mAh/66.6Wh for Dyson DC31,34,35,44. Type A.
Problem is I can't see it listed on the Dyson site.
Do they deal in the older battery type?

Mine is a corded vacuum, so no batteries needed, that is around 6 years old. My previous one was also corded and over 10 years old and had no issues getting replacement parts for it.
As Padi said, get onto the chat and ask. I have always found them to be very helpful when I've contacted them via the chat help.
As an aside, my new powerhead is up for delivery tomorrow. Given the way postage can be at the moment, I'm stoked, given it was ordered over the weekend.
