howie, how did you report the seller?
I've been trying to pay for an item won at auction over the weekend and the seller has emailed to say that their PayPal account has been declined.

Wheels tell them to call paypal and they can fix the account and till it is working you are refusing to pay.
If they open a non p[ayer dipsute call ebay and they can view the messages if via ebay messages and they will remove the strike if given.

Not a very bright seller either in the TOS they have:
I ONLY ACCEPT BANK DEPOSIT no PayPal as it has it's own additional fees and charges, any buyers that choose to pay using PayPal will be refunded and negative feedback will be left.
He obviously does not realise that he will be the one getting the negative feedback not the one giving it unless it is a pos neg which if report will be removed.

Well he doesn't specify who will leave negative feedback (buyer or seller) and since seller can't then I guess if he insists :^O

"I now think as long as they get the fees they don't give a rats"
They're all Scammers not Sellers. They don't pay fees to ebay.
The listings are all fraudulent listings.
This type of listing is reported daily to ebay.
"There appears to be more than 1 id just the last digit is changed"
The numerous Scammers' IDs are often just random strings of letters and numbers.
They'll very often be registered in Australia but mostly they're not in Australia at all.
The current listings mentioned here have all been removed now and the IDs are NARU but they'll be back with more fake IDs and more fraudulent listings.
