Just received a new book ( Al Pacino's Sonny Boy/ paperback) but it is an obvious fake - what should I do?

What is the item number?

How is this book a ' fake '. ??

Is it signed with a fake signature ?
Do you have the proof that it's fake ?
Please give some more details.

If it's not as described, open a case for same.
It might pay to read the listing again to ensure that what you got isn't what was advertised.

Just a question Dave - do you have any ' fake ' books. 🤣

A signed copy sold for US 548.90 with a note stating
"Rare! Al Pacino Signed Sonny Boy Memoir Book SWAU Certified . This item has recently been authenticated by SWAU and may not yet be updated in the SWAU database"
Obviously the unsigned books aren't that expensive so not sure what could be fake , which is why I asked the OP for more details.
Best to have real proof of the signature being fake and be very sure, before opening an "item not as described" claim through eBay's Money Back Guarantee

Casey - the title of the thread - FAKE BOOK.
The OP - Just received a new book ( Al Pacino's Sonny Boy/ paperback) but it is an obvious fake - what should I do?
Not one mention of a signature - which would be necessary to even go near ' fake '.
We can assume - but it isn't written.

Only real ones, sorry.
I do consider e- and audio books fake, but that is a personal prejudice.

I know, I didn't assume and it was just a thought as I couldn't think of any reason why a paperback would/could be fake.
BUT since then I've read some Amazon reviews on a 'similar' item:
"This is a fraudulent copy of Al Pacino’s memoirs. It serves me right for not looking closely at the description, but Al Pacino’s memoir is almost 400 pages long while this is closer to 175 pages. It’s even written in first person which doesn’t make sense"
"This is a copy of Al Pacino’s memoir re-written using AI. You can even see the comparisons between the two descriptions on each’s Amazon pages. Do not purchase, this should be reported and any money made off of this should be seized"
"Put In Trash
Terrible Book Poorly written"
