Hi,
I am just wondering why some sellers don't leave feedback for buyers until after the buyer has left feedback for them?

I don't think leaving a public positive feedback comment for a buyer, thanking them for their purchase and noting my very quick post of their purchase does my sales reputation any harm -either with the buyer making the purchase or future buyers.
In addition, some of the most interesting and useful feedback I have ever seen is in buyer feedback. It has assisted me to grow my BBL significantly.
Follow up comments in buyer feedback have also greatly assisted me in managing a few "item not received or as decribed" scammers.
IMO buyer feedback is not irrelevant.

This whole thread is about a seller not leaving a buyer feedback isn't it,so all I said was that as a buyer I don't care if I receive feedback as long as I get my purchase,so the sellers feedback to me is not important as much as it is me leaving feedback for the seller.

As usual, misconstruing deliberately what I said. I believe I said, if you care to look, that buyer FEEDBACK is irrelevent, I even explained why a bit further down. Probably a bit before you started reading.

DG if you don't get it I am not sure I can explain it in a way that is "more meaningful" for you.
BTW the feedback I leave for my buyers is as meaningful as they perceive it. Leaving "tailored" feedback does not mean it will be for some or one or many, anymore meaningful.

I know it doesn't do you any harm for leaving a buyer a wonderful feedback as it gets you repeat business and i never said that you shouldn't,I said as a buyer I don't really care if I receive feedback or not.Happychap is the one that's so concerned about a seller not giving feedback immediately after he/she has paid.As a seller I give feedback asap but not immediately as sometimes I have others things to do rather than being by my computer 24/7 and might not realise that someone has paid me.

And davewil you asked the OP a question, based on a subjective assumption, so I responded to note that part one of the statement/question was your opinion and not a fact. Not sure how that is misconstruing your post.

Again, where did I suggest it would be more meaningful for the buyer? I didn't specify anyone in particular that it would be more meaningful for.
It was a pretty general comment, glad the way you intepreted it gave you some amusement, but it's a bit silly to ascribe your interpretation to me and then laugh at it, cos it ain't me you're laughing at.
