I feel completely betrayed by Ebay removing accurate and honest feedback about a fraudulent tansaction I experienced recently. I purchased and received 2 x counterfeit 'Walbro' efi fuel pumps from a seller that has been selling hundreds of counterfeit products over a long period of time with the vast majority of his victims being unaware that they have received such.I have approached Ebay 3 times through the only avenue of contact available 'online chat" and explained the full situation to them and asked each time that the matter be esculated to upper management so that I could have something done about this seller and the systemic rampant fraud that is occuring daily on Ebay's platform.Each chat was protracted for hours and by multiple customer service persons that handled the different areas.I have come way not only completely unsatisfied but frustrated and angry that Ebay has put totally unsuitable people at their front line as deflectors.People in a completely different country than the business is being conducted in and where english is not their first language.It is impossible to actually speak to someone in Australia that is a decision maker because believe me, I have tried.Ebay are absolute hypocrites in that they say they want an honest and safe community for their buyers but when you actually catch out someones deception, they are manipulated by that seller to have the damaging truth removed from their reviews which would actually contribute to making Ebay a safer place to purchase legitimate products.Through this experience I have become aware the fraud is extensive,not just in the automotive parts industry but through many sectors and it has been going on for years and is happening right now and nothing is being done about it and this seller is actually being protected by Ebay so they can continue their enterprise of deceit.Pls Help!

@autopowerpartsonline,
You may be in a tricky situation here. eBay may regard the feedback as breaching their feedback policy, since you are a seller in the same line.
Did you open a claim under eBay's MBG for "Significantly Not As Described/Item Not As Described"? If not, that may contribute to how eBay handle negative feedback claiming that the items are counterfeit.

Save the paragraph.

It sounds like ebay settled a dispute in the sellers favour, in which case the seller can simply ask to have your feedback removed.
Did you have the items certified as counterfeit and if so was the certifier authorized to do so, or is it just your belief.

Obviously there is a lot of detail associated with this situation.I'm a parts dealer w/35yrs experience and a 'Genuine' Walbro fuel pump to compare it with.The first indication is the price point and then it meets ALL of the internet documented criteria for a counterfeit including the counterfeit boxing.The seller admitted in an email message that we received Fakes but said when they came in they processed the order blindfolded and didn't notice that their supplier had randomly put 'only two' counterfeit in stock they had received but the parties before and after ours were supplied received 'Genuine'.Completely believable!

I purchased the items through my personal Ebay account and was careful to be factual and accurate with my review. I had not opened a case at that point but confronted the fraudster with my knowledge of his deception and gave him an opportunity to send me real product. He even said amongst a whole lot of ridiculous stories that if I needed real pumps in a hurry because he would not have more real stock for just over a week ,that he would refund me and pay me extra to buy them from another seller as long as I was prepared to change my feedback to positive and say he fixed the 'Mistake' Right!
