When your error became clear ... perhaps after that .. ??

Maybe the OP should have made it clear that he was not asking about an ebay seller with that ID.
In view of the fact that there have been numerous reports on the boards of hijacked German accounts selling TVs to Australia I think my comment was quite reasonable and does not need an apology.

Perhaps if you wish to be truly helpful, polite and not appear as someone who does not know what they are talking about, to OPs, asking a clarifying question or two may assist.

So now you suggest that we ask every OP if they are referring to an ebay transaction when they post on the ebay boards and mention an ebay seller by the correct ID.
If that is the case you can have it all on your own.

No.

I work on the assumption that a query on the eBay boards would equate to a query about an eBay transaction.
But that's just me.
Obviously there are people who will ask questions that are unrelated to the site they are asking questions on, but I would only work that out if they actually let people know that was the case. In which case I would be asking why they are posting.
So, my assumption is that the OP was in relation to an eBay transaction AND an eBay member with the name-and-shame ID. Therefore Lyndal is (as per usual) correct.
Of course I could be wrong. And eBay boards are available for use, for any dropin, for any complaint about any seller, for anywhere in the on or off line universe.

I work on a lot of assumptions too Davewil, and you prove them to be true frequently.

Perhaps the OP shouldn't be asking non ebay related questions on a board which is specifically for ebay related questions.
It's not hard to get confused when the OPs question was lacking details about the seller

Not difficult to find which eBay seller the OP was enquiring about.
Just two words in google: ebay eljo
