Have had major problems with being stopped from bidding by Pitney Bowes . Restricted shipping ? Why

Hi . I have had real problems buying from USA sellers because of this Global Shipping Company ( Pitney Bowes ) with their inflated shipping costs and restrictions on the type of item they will send internationally . I am now so **bleep** off with the process that I may have to ignore any potential purchases that involve this manifestly unjust shipping company .

WHY IS IT SO !!!!

Can you give more information on why and how Pitney Bowes is restricting your bidding?

They do have a lot of restrictions on what they will send to Australia, even when it bears no resemblance to an item that is on the restricted items list of Australian Customs...... but you usually find that out after you have paid and you need to open a dispute to get your money back.

A lot of us (from reading the forums) do not buy item from sellers using PB shipping. If you are interested in an item simply message the buyer and ask if they will ship direct with USPS or their own postal system and ask for a quote. Most are happy to send this way.

Yep, but the mods either don't care or have been sleeping soundly for the past week or so since it's been happening.

Yes, they've removed the early posts but aren't stopping new ones coming up, it's a PITA Stalks and I'm surprised Lithium hasn't given them a holiday in eBali.................
