When i look at an item the timezone is set to AEDST. However, I am in AEST (Brisbane) not AEDST.
It gets the time right in the lists but not the items; how do i fix that?

dont use ebay quite as much as I would if I didnt keep missing things....
simpler....
Stakeholders suffer, simple.
You do have to wonder at the QA if basic things, that other websites get right, cant be done. Not only that, but there is a bug there - it gets the time right in the list of items matching the search criteria but not in the actual item - consistency bug; if you are going to get it wrong at least get it wrong everywhere! 🙂
Note that the first comment stands. I dont actually use eBay quite at much as I would if the site worked properly.

you cannot change it. eBay australia runs on Sydney time... for the whole of Australia....
eBay usa runs on California time for the whole of the usa.
each eBay site has only ONE official time.

this is as hilarious as it is unbelievable!
An auction site whose developers can't implement something as perfectly simple and crucially important as the time?
This bizarre issue goes beyond incompetence and into the realm of insanity. What is their reasoning? Ebay devs are some very confused people.

Not sure what you're on about but there's nothing wrong with the times in any of the listings I look at or any of my own listings for that matter. They are all in my local time. Maybe try checking the times setiings in your settings.

As is dragging up a year-old thread to add no valid input.
eBay times are Sydney times - simple.
