How long does it take to respond to complaints and negative feedbacks?

I bought  an xbox game and 4 weeks later it has not arrived. 


The seller originally said it would arrive within a week or so. Then I received a strange email saying that they had a problem with their shipping agent and that it would take few more days.


They claim that they have a shop in Melbourne but that their items are either sent from Hong Kong or Melbourne. I have been writing to them since their last message, asking for the item and another strange email arrived saying that they would refund me if necessary and then no other answer was received. I eventually contacted the Ebay Answer Centre and have been waiting now for a reply from the seller for the last 7 days. Ebay says that I have to wait 10 days for the next step to be taken up by them. So here I am 33 days later after an Immediate payment and with no quick support on this matter. I am anxious because I made the mistake of transferring money into a Bank account. I usually always use Paypal but I did it differently this time. When I read the feedback for this company I see that 37 people have posted negative feedback  this last month. Many have been complaining on similar grounds to mine. But the company is still showing a 97% positive response and selling the same item under the same conditions that I bought it for. How long is this going to go on? After all, this company is clearly not following the rules.

Unfortunately ebay can't help you and there is little chance of you recovering your money because you haven't paid via Paypal. You cab contact the Online Fraud Squad. Someone may be able to provide you with a link for it.

Contacting ebay is a useless exercise as they cannot do anything at all.  It is paypal who refund your money if the goods do not arrive.


Despite the seller saying the items are in Australia it is a pretty good indication that they are not when the seller says they MAY be shipped from Hong Kong.  If they are coming from HK they may still arrive as the mail seems to be rather slow at the moment.

If it was the Fifa x-box game you purchased, then it has been 20 business days.


 


They are very busy over there at moment and a alot of mail is being sent thru the system, so you package is probly delayed a little.


 


I would think you will get your game soon man, i wouldn't stress out about it.

Sounds like a great rort to me, buyers who pay via bank Dep get slower post because it's cheaper for the seller.

I recently bought 3 items from the same seller from HK; 2 arrived at about week the 3rd took 5 weeks.  So it is still possible it will get here; considering that there is nothing you can do about getting refund, I would just wait and if it does not arrive in 5 weeks from the date of purchase I would ask the seller for refund.  If they do not I would leave NEG, very carefully so it could not be removed.  That is calm and professional.  Then they may prefer to refund for revision of the NEG, but do not suggest it and do not accept changing the NEG before they refund.

But the company is still showing a 97% positive



Its only buyers like you who leave feed back that can change that score.

Did you know that X-Boxes are region locked? I hope that your game doesn't come from Hong Kong or you won't be able to play it unless it's an Australian version

I've purchased many games from the seller through eBay and their own website. They've been always pretty reliable and responded to my enquiries promptly.



I think the problem they are having is not their side as they mentioned about problems with shipping agent.



They've sold over 2,000 sales per month through eBay and they also sell through own website which I buy from since they opened their own.



If you don't receive the game I'm pretty sure you get refund even though you paid through bank deposit.



Leaving negative feedback or not is totally up to how you feel about this transaction.
