I purchased 2 x monitors but 1 was damaged in transit so I need to return 1 of the monitors. I submitted a 'return' request but I forgot to change the quantity from 2 to 1. When I've gone back into the request, it doesn't allow me to alter the quantity amount. The only option given is to 'cancel' the request, but it warns me that if I do cancel the 'return' request, I won't be able to open a new 'return' request.
The seller has asked me to change the quantity to 1, but I can't see how to do that. Can you please advise how I can alter the quantity of items in my submitted 'return' request.

Theres a guide to what to offer in the help section regarding different situations and gather ebay trust you to be honest otherwise you would loose your ability in the future.

Most of the time I just process the full refund including the postage they paid if I can see it was an honest error on the buyers part.
The OP is stuck and as I mentioned it would be up to the seller to offer half the amount for half the return. I would say they would be best to contact ebay and see what could be done.
